Concert Dates!

The Festival Consort’s “RENAISSANCE GLORY” vocal & instrumental music.

Our “Renaissance Glory” CD offers beloved traditional European Christmas carols, as well as instrumental works by such great Medieval and Renaissance composers as Praetorius, Festa, Senfl, Brumel, and Isaac.

Our Christmas Concerts

Each Christmas season the Festival Consort presents a concert at the 140-year-old Church of the Incarnation, in Santa Rosa, California, in the heart of the Wine Country. Our most recent appearance there, on January 3, 2016, was our twelfth annual performance in the exquisite all-heart-redwood building. Moreover, some years the Consort has also staged concerts elsewhere in the North Bay area. Soprano Carol Menke and countertenor Christopher Fritzsche join instrumentalists Robert Cronin, Alan Paul, David Hogan Smith, and Joanna Bramel Young in rich, varied celebrations of the best in Early Music. This is possible because the instruments themselves are expertly crafted, authentic replicas of recorders, shawms, crumhorns, curtal, douçaine, guitar and sackbut.

Celebrating its fortieth year, the Festival Consort proudly presents its “Renaissance Glory” concert in two venues for the Christmas season. On Sunday, December 4, 2016, at 3 PM the concert will be performed at the Petaluma Historical Library and Museum, 20 Fourth Street, Petaluma, CA 94952. Tickets are $20 at the door ($25 for balcony seating), or in advance at: (707) 778-4398

On Sunday, January 8, 2017, at 4 PM the concert will be repeated at the Church of the Incarnation, 550 Mendocino Avenue, Santa Rosa CA 95401. Tickets are $20 at the door or in advance at http://www.brownpapertickets.com. For more information, click “Contact Us” on this page.
